CAGE Warriors Fighting Championship and MMAjunkie.com have announced the extension of their international streaming partnership for the coming year.

The two parties initially linked up at the beginning of 2012, with all 12 Cage Warriors events streamed live on MMAjunkie.com. In addition to the existing live content, MMAjunkie.com will now also broadcast replays of each event in its entirety within 48 hours of the live stream.

The parties have agreed to continue to collaborate through the 2013 calendar year as Cage Warriors again asserts itself as the world’s busiest mixed martial arts promotion outside of the UFC and Bellator. Nine countries hosted 12 CWFC events last year, a schedule that was matched by no other.

With 12-to-16 events already planned across Europe and the Middle East in 2013, Cage Warriors is keen to build on the achievements of last year, which was the most successful in the promotion’s 10-year history.

“I’m delighted that MMAjunkie.com will be continuing their superb coverage of the biggest MMA promotion outside of the USA,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan. “Our partnership worked brilliantly for both parties last year and I’m certain that it will improve again in 2013.

“Cage Warriors has led MMA in the UK and Europe for a long time, but partnering with MMAjunkie.com has given us exposure to their huge American and international fan base. Apart from the UFC, Cage Warriors is the leader in international events, visiting as many as nine countries per year.

“We have infrastructure in place across Europe and the Middle East, which means that in each country we go to, everything and everyone is in place weeks in advance. England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Dubai, Australia, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are all on my radar for the year ahead.

“We’ve had enormously positive feedback from fans worldwide over the last year or so and I think this is as a result of the fact that our fights are analysed and streamed live by the best MMA website in the business.

“We’ve been inundated with requests by fans to access our fights, and making fight replays available on MMAjunkie.com will provide more MMA fans with the chance to enjoy Cage Warriors action. I’m excited about continuing to work with MMAjunkie.com in 2013 and beyond.”

Cage Warriors has already booked six shows for its 2013 schedule: March 9, London; April 13, Glasgow; May 4, Cardiff; June 1, Dublin; July 6, London; September 14, Cardiff. Further dates are set to be announced shortly.

“We’re excited to continue our relationship with Cage Warriors and bring more great fights to our MMAjunkie.com community,” said MMAjunkie editor-in-chief and co-founder Dann Stupp. “Our Cage Warriors streams have always been a big hit with Junkie Nation, and we look forward to developing our relationship with Cage Warriors even further in 2013.”
